Clothing items to wear to boost your confidence

Confidence is something so many

struggle and it really is hard to know where to begin. I do think that everyone should boost their confidence by themselves. You shouldn’t be using something else to boost confidence, because if you do so your confidence will always be depended on it. For example if you boost confidence by having hot boyfriend, if he breaks up with you, your confidence is gone. You shouldn’t be building your confidence with expensive clothing as well, because you will only feel confident because of this expensive clothing, and it won’t truly come from you.

So you for sure should work on building

it yourself, but it takes time and little help won’t hurt you am I right. For example I am someone who has always been confident in myself, but wearing certain clothing item can make me even more confident and I feel this can help even people who are not confident. The more often you wear this clothes, the more often you will feel confident and therefore eventually it will turn into always feeling this, because you will be tricking your mind. Being confident is all in your mind, so in order to be more confident you need to wear and do more things that make you feel this way. So here are view clothing items that make me feel confident and I am sure will do the same for you, but of course we are different so it might not.

Leather jacket:

I am so obsessed with leather jacket. It gives me very much badass vibe. It gives me the feeling that I can take over the world and no one can do anything about it. I try to wear leather jacket as much as possible, that is why I sometimes tend to wear leather jacket in freezing winter. I just can’t describe how amazing I feel wearing so I sometimes will go through the pain of being cold just for that. If I have first date with you or even just a date, I am probably wearing leather jacket, at least I won’t be wearing much makeup because I feel badass just by wearing leather jacket. Pro tips for my ladies if you wear leather jacket in winter for a date, he will probably end up giving you his jacket and that is of course a plus.

Ankle boots:

I don’t what is it, but I feel it doesn’t matter what I wear, it will look good with ankle boots. They are very classy peace and they can also be edgy at the same time if they are leather of course. I always feel good wearing ankle boots I really don’t know why, I guess but they look good with anything.

Metallic skinny jeans:

Not only do this jeans make your legs look so amazing, but it gives powerful woman vibes. When I see these jeans I think about woman who runs her own empire, so when I wear these jeans I feel the same. I feel so powerful and confident no one can bring me down. I only own these kind of jeans and I have like 100 of these and love them so much. Also another plus they are so comfortable. You can style them in so many different ways.

Skater skirt:

Because skater skirt is wide, it can fly at any time so it already give you confidence enough. It is such a classy peace to wear and you can style this skirt in so many ways. I love wearing skater skirt with a flannel it gives me very much a girly vibe, or if I feel to be more elegant I style it with a blazer. This skirt really makes me feel special and I feel so good wearing it.

Velvet Blazer:

Velvet Blazer is very unique item to own, but totally a must. Because it is velvet it make any outfit look elegant. Wearing it gives me very much girl boss vibes and just such a great feeling. Like look at me I am on my way to my big ass office because I am killing at being a boss. Great way to wear this blazer is with very simply dress or with pair of elegant trousers.

Leather shirt:

I recently bought leather

shirt and let me tell you it does wonders for me. If I am not feeling my outfit I just add this shirt to my outfit and I am feeling much better and even better if I add my red lipstick. It is edgy and classy at the same time. It gives me badass girl vibe and every time I wear it I feel I can take over the world.

I am sharing this to inspire

you and give you some ideas, but of course something that makes me feel good, doesn’t mean it will do the same for you. You got to be aware what item makes you feel good and that one you should be wearing. It is about finding you own items, but with this I hope you inspire you and motivate you. What you wear can really influence how you feel so try being aware of it.

Wrong: You’ve slept withs many people though 

People can sleep with as many people as they want to. It is their body so they choose what they want to do with it. There is no wrong way of treating your body. Some people happen to love sex more, some less. It someone had many partners doesn’t mean they deserve to be raped. It is a crime regardless of their sexual background.

Wrong: Did you say no? What were you doing there? 

There is way too often victim blaming, because our society want to ignore the real problem which is the rapist. Victim blaming can cause victim to go into very dark place. A thought of them being the reason that his happened to them, could destroy them. These kind of questions makes them question themselves. It is common of victim to not say no, when your mind noticed something bad is about to happen, you freeze.

The right term for that

is called flight and fight response you can google it. But you basically are left speechless you barley speak and can even say no. Regardless of the situation any normal person would not, this is not right and they shouldn’t be doing it. No one has right to access your body without you give permission. They need to make sure you 100% want it otherwise it is sexual assault.

Wrong: How could you even put yourself in that position? 

You should never make them feel, they are to blame. It is not the right way to approach the situation. You blaming them will turn into them blaming themselves and that won’t be good for recovery. Getting raped can happen to anyone, at any time and at any place.

It can happen during

the day at public place, but also at club. You can’t restrict yourself from doing things you enjoy because there are rapists out there. It happened and victim is not to blame. The rapist shouldn’t done it and that is it! Ask them how to support them. This will make them comfortable and easier to open up to you.

Wrong: Weren’t you drunk? How can you be sure you didn’t want it? 

Having sex with someone while they are drunk is called a rape. Doesn’t matter if they wanted or not, it is still a rape. When someone is drunk they mind is all over the place, and they can’t think straight. Because of that their decision when they are drunk can be different from when they are sober. Knowing someone is drunk, you have responsibility to stop and if not you are being aware that you are raping someone.

Of course someone being drunk

is perfect for rapist, it is so easy to rape someone and so many rapists take advantages of someone being drunk to get away with it. If you want to be sexually active, you have to take responsibility, and that means learning about consent and knowing when it is given. Unwanted sexual experience can traumatise someone for life. Entourage the victim that speaking up about it, is a good thing and that they should keep speaking about it. Keep telling them that going through this experience make her stronger.

Wrong: Don’t tell anyone, it can ruin your future.

Sharing your experience, can only brighten your future. This is something you had no control over and also nothing to be ashamed about. If you were a rapist there would be plenty to be ashamed about, but you were victim. If someone thinks badly of you because of this experience, it makes them a coward. But most people would not think badly about you, because you have been raped. Most people will admire how strong you are. You shouldn’t be putting wrong ideas in victims head, it is not right. You should be telling them, how wonderful they are and how loved they are.

Wrong: I told you there was something off about them.

If they even get slight feeling they could have done something differently, they will start blaming themselves. Don’t make it harder on them. Make them feel that whatever they have done was enough. They couldn’t prevent that from happening. Trust me saying I believe you will do them much more. Maybe I believe you is not big deal, but when you keep hearing you are making this up, when you hear someone say I believe you it makes you 100 times much better.

Wrong: What were you wearing? 

It doesn’t matter what you were wearing. Rapists rape for power not because of what you were wearing. Some straight rapists tend to rape gay people or even rape children. It doesn’t matter, you should be allowed to wear whatever you want to. No one should control what you wear or be triggered by what you wear. Know that way too many times it has been proven that clothes just didn’t matter. So instead of questioning them, ensure them their clothes didn’t matter. What they wore what not the reason. It is important for them to hear that

So how well did you do it?

And as I mentioned not having all the answers correct, doesn’t mean you are not ready. Reading through the entire article will make you ready, so make sure you read everything I wrote under the questions. Don’t be too hard on yourself, when you haven’t been through something like this it is hard to understand, But I feel sexual assault is very taboo topic and need more attention.

Like view years ago

I didn’t know much about this topic either and thought certain things that people do are fine, but I learned they are not. I learned a lot from following accounts that are focusing on this topic, and reading a lot about it, but also when you yourself go through this experience you learn the most by experiencing this yourself. It is way easier to learn when you have been through this, and much harder when you haven’t been through this.

This is very hard experience to go through and I don’t wish on anyone, but also when people speak up about it, it does bring awareness to this topic.

Reasons I’m Feminist

Although some people strongly disagree with feminists I see true power in feminism. Being feminist isn’t just for women, it is for all of us. It is shaping us to be better versions of ourselves, and to think for ourselves and not what we are taught to believe. Feminism is also helping us fix the messed up system we live in, that will eventually be beneficial for all of us. Everyone earning enough money, plus working less which means more freedom, isn’t this beneficial for all of us? If you would be more open minded, you would see the beauty of feminism. Anyways here are some reasons I’m feminist and think everyone else should be too:

 

-The belief that women shouldn’t be smarter than men and if you are no man will want  you is the reasons I’m feminist:

We are all smart in our own unique ways, and women are smart too. The belief that a woman who is a smart is no good for any man is ridiculous. Feminism is showing that this is not true, and you can find a man when you are smart. Having a smart woman around him is priceless and every man’s biggest dream trust me!

 

-Because even though I am not too worried about, many women are scared to walk alone at certain time:

Yes this world is crazy, that a human being has to worry about walking alone at the night. It is not okay, what if she wants to walk by herself sometimes? She can’t do this, because our society allowed men to become aggressive towards women, so now women are too scared. Feminism is fighting this issue by helping women be more confident and bringing awareness to men and that being aggressive is not cute.

-Because a woman in a room full of men is terrified is the reasons I’m feminist:

If a man is in a room full of woman, he is loving his life feeling his is the start, but when is other way around it is different story. Men make us feel uncomfortable, they make us feel less and they don’t take us seriously. We shouldn’t be afraid to walk in the room full of men, we should own this shit. But even confident woman would feel scared, because they make you feel this way. Feminism is teaching women to not be afraid and own their power.

-Because women’s value shouldn’t be based on her sexual history:

Yes it is disgusting how they value us based on our sexual history. My sexual history is only my business and regardless what I have done sexually it doesn’t define me who I am as a person. We are all different and what we do sexually is different others and that is fine, we are allowed to do whatever feels right. Feminism taught me that what I did sexually doesn’t define me, and that I am still worthy regardless of what I did.

-Because of sexist comments:

To be disrespectful to a woman just because she is a woman is not okay. To discriminate her with your rude comments is not acceptable. Sexism has been in our society for long time and needs to go aways. Feminism is fighting this huge issue we have be dealing with.

-People like to shame women for focusing on their careers:

Woman can focus on her career is up to her. She doesn’t have to do anything society wants her to do. It is all up to her, and no one has right to shame her for it. It this is what she wants, she is doing the right thing.

-Because being called a “girl” is considered a bad thing:

Our society likes to make girls seems like they are weak, not able to succeed or do anything in life, which is so false. All humans are amazing and regardless if you are man or a woman, you should be proud of it. No one should shame you for being that.

-Because it is more humiliating to be raped than to be a rapist:

When woman gets raped it is all her fault, they consider her dirty and not pure anymore. But they never shame rapist and it is never really his fault. If he raped her, her being dirty is all in his hands. She couldn’t control it, he forced her to do it so making her feel shitty is not okay.  Feminism is fighting this mindset so people consider rapist as dirty and not the victim.

-Because no one should be afraid of losing their job, because they call out their bosses for harassment:

No one should be harasst by their boss. That is not okay, and this totally isn’t nice working environment. Bosses should learn not to harass their employees, it is not acceptable. Everyone has right to call out their boss for bad behaviour without losing their job.

-Because young girls are worrying more about how much eating instead of enjoying their youth:

Our society is giving young girls unrealistic beauty standers. Young girls are way too young to be worrying about how much they eat. They shouldn’t even care about it, as long as you enjoy what you are eating who really cares. We shouldn’t change ourselves, because our society thinks the only way you are beautiful is if you are skinny. We are all beautiful in our own unique ways and we don’t need to change, our society needs to change! Feminism is helping beautiful young girls accept themselves and love for who they are.

Being a feminist is something

I am really proud of. Feminism is opening eyes to so many, and helping them in so many ways. They helping so many feel better about themselves, it is freeing them over ridiculous pressure our society puts us on. It is wonderful community to be part of and I entourage everyone to join and be feminist. You can simply join by just being your true self.

The Evolution of denim jacket

been around for a long time. It is so fascinating how denim jacket developed through centuries, and I think it is great that it really never goes out of the style. When I think about denim jacket, I always think of this picture with young James Dean in 1950s in levis denim jacket. And yes I guess “Levis” is also big part of denim jacket, they introduced us to denim jacket, and successfully have been making these amazing denim jacket for centuries now.

The way they made denim jacket,

the way we dress, and even kind of part of our lifestyle is very amazing. I feel levis made this trend so beautiful, so these denim jacket go through generations, and still don’t go out of the style. Denim jacket is something you can actually share with your family, something everyone has in common with. I have been wearing denim jacket ever since I was a little girl, and even today denim jacket still remain one of my favourite pieces in my closet. Of course when I was a little I used to wear it with my little dress, and cute little bag, to feel like I am grown up, and now I wear it little differently. So for todays article I will be showing you The Evolution of denim jacket

50s: 

this one is one of the first denim jacket. As you can see from the colour itself the technology wasn’t that advanced, they couldn’t make too many shades or with many details. It was simple jacket with just view and simple buttons. It was little bit oversized. and just very normal length not crop or too long. They probably wore it back then with these typical 50s dresses, like polka dots or these high waist shorts, and these short blouses that they used to tight together 

60s: 

This one is a bit later and you can see then they had discovered this light shade of denim, and as you can see this jacket is little bit advanced. Some patches on the jacket and even more buttons and not that simple once. This one is very retro just suited for that time. This one is actually little bit tight, I guess that was in at that time. And I am totally loving these stains on jacket, they totally attentional did that. Back then these kind of school girl skirts were totally in and they probably wore with those or even these high waist jeans

70s: 

now you can see shades of jeans between very dark and very light. Ashade that most of our jeans these days have or at least mine. I think this is the best jeans shade don’t you think so? Anyways this one has little bitter buttons with little these typical denim jacket details under this pockets very typical. This one now already has normal size which means it is perfect for anyone. They probably wore this one with these beautiful dresses and hats or these skirts with dots also chick and also flare trousers with many different prints or even these mid length skirts 

80s:  

By now you can clearly noticed the evolution of denim jacket. Seeing the first one and then then this one. In 80s they had this kind of shade too light with little darker shade and it really does look cute. Then they started this trend oversized and as you can see this jacket is little bigger with big pockets and this big buttons. I love this fringe details another trend from past that is so in now. They wore this jacket with probably these retro high waist jeans in similar shade and with some super cute vans or all starts. And also back then in 80s fashion was pretty wild with tutus so these jacket would have been awesome with that as well and all these neon coloured pieces

90s: 

in 90s this trend oversized denim jacket really got around with little light shade denim jacket.This shade for denim jacket it is not too dark but also not too light just how I like it. I love this big pockets as well. I think around this time I was born but I don’t remember fashion back then since I was little baby. But they probably wore with some cool sneakers and pony tale for wear in then. Very pin up girl kind of style and kind of school girl with these little skirts, or these mini skirts as well or overalls used to be so popular back then denim on denim nothing is better than that am I right? 

2000: 

 

then new century came around and they were bring back these little tight denim jackets. But then they had little advanced buttons more detailed. But still very simple as any denim jacket with another different shade. And at this time I was aware of the fashion and I remember people wearing denim jacket with flare jeans, those kind of jeans were so popular then. Even I wore them and I know today I hate these kind of denim jacket. Sometimes fashion can really funny 🙂 Anyways they used to wear it with this flare jeans and some simple tops and it used to look so cool


In this part I will be talking about the evolution of denim jacket from 2011-2016 

2011: 

I remember in 2011 denim jacket were more styled like jacket. Long jacket but tight with also denim belt to look even more like jacket. In 2011 they made this feature with just one pocket and some cool buttons. The material of the jacket was a lot of denim shirt and the colour looked like that as well. Girls used to wear these denim jackets with some skinny jeans or skirts and curly hair that was so in then don’t you remember?

2012: 

This denim jacket was my favourite one back then. I used to be so obsessed with finding just like this one. I remember looking at this picture and wanting it so badly. So in 2012 these oversized ripped denim jacket were big hit. It really looked cool on side ripped and just kind of vintage style. We used to wear it with basically anything from some it girl look to very casual look 

2013: 

when I think about it, it feels so long ago like 20 years or something that these big dress like denim jacket were trendy. They made these denim jacket that were long and very much dress like with cool pockets features and this colour between light and dark shades which even today people adore. Girls used to wear it with very cute dress. It used to look so cute with skater dress you could kind of see the dress but not totally. 

2014:

 in this year designers and fashion makers came up with idea to print out some cool designs on the denim jacket to look super cute and this is the year that crop denim jacket become the thing. We used to wear them with these little black dresses and in very elegant way. In 2014 denim jacket had different pockets and very great shades. But the best part were these prints for sure

2015-2016: 

in 2015-2016 we actually have become creative and we are adding different stuff to our denim jacket. Even though in 2014 these prints were the thing but now we are buying simple jacket and adding prints, glitters, fringe and many other details to make it unique. I feel today there is no trend for denim jacket it depends on everyones personality and mood. Some buy these oversized some these normal once denim jacket and still manage to make it unique. I see in different stores from oversized jacket to just simple once. But I do have to tell oversized denim jacket are big hit this year. 


I think in general since 2000

we have become more open about denim jacket. We don’t look what kind is trendy, we just get the one that suits us the best. Like I said levis made this denim jacket be more than just a trend or clothing piece. That is why we don’t care what kind of denim jacket is trendy it is more how we wear it. I mean these denim jacket did go through view changes. But in the way not a lot as much as how we wore them and how we were them now.

I feel denim jackets are

in a way a tradition and the way of life. Have to say I am very proud to have that as part of my life. My fashion and we can thank levis the creators of this beautiful fashion piece. This will go on and on through centuries and generations and still remain the way it was in the beginning. I think it is great how denim jacket still has identity that it had when it was created and I mean that it is still a thing is really amazing. I hope you enjoyed this article and remember don’t waist your looks and life on some jackets that don’t have that much history trust me denim jacket is worth your outfits wear it and be proud of it.
