Diane Kruger made a daring entrance on Saturday on the All That Glitters Diwali Ball in New York. The occasion, hosted by the nonprofit Gold Home, was co-sponsored by Nordstrom and Estée Lauder.
For the event, Kruger wore a scarlet sari-inspired gown by Prabal Gurung, which featured bodice cutouts and delicate draping. The actress’ extravagant Chopard jewels included peacock-shaped earrings, a diamond necklace and sapphire cocktail rings. Kruger accomplished her look with a pair of gold high-heeled sandals.
Kruger wore her blond tresses in a modern half-updo, courtesy of hairdresser Danielle Priano, whereas her make-up consisted of a brilliant pink lip and a beige smokey eye.
“Let the sunshine in,” the actress wrote on Instagram. “Blissful Diwali, a a lot wanted reminder of pleasure.”
Diwali, also called the pageant of lights, is an annual vacation celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists. The celebration represents the triumph of fine over evil.
Earlier this month, Kruger attended the New York Metropolis Ballet’s fall 2023 gala, which honored the corporate’s seventy fifth season. The actress was accompanied by her longtime accomplice, “The Strolling Useless” actor Norman Reedus. Kruger opted for a white satin Givenchy robe with an embellished bodice, pairing her ensemble with a small metallic purse.
Kruger at present has a number of initiatives within the works. She’s set to star in David Cronenberg’s upcoming movie, “The Shrouds,” in addition to within the French psychological thriller “Visions,” which premiered on the Angoulême Francophone Movie Pageant in September.
